I went online to get home insurance with Frontier …last year somehow I ended with home insurance for a higher price for some kind of lodging house that I don’t have ..I only have a small semi with my lady friend … I had already paid so couldn’t be bothered to challenge that …so I left it …This summer heatwave I had trouble with tiles on my kitchen floor breaking now 20 ish splitting and cracking .. Due to misleading information , I have spent almost a day to create and pay for a quote . When you are redirected from another site like Confused.com . It takes you all the way at the end to pay for it and ask you to supply a password for account creation so you can manage your account later . The catch is it's expecting you to actually enter the same password the one you setup with the parent site . If you have started from Confused.com then you need to supply the same password what you have with Confused.com . It's a high risk security issue in my view how come you can expect same credentials for two linking sites . On top of that it doesn't say that clearly anywhere you end up trying process 100 times without having a clue about this and payment doesn't go through and it display you generic session expired error . So disappointing experience . When I raised it with customer service they said you need to login with the same credentials as you have with Confused.com , but system doesn't let you as your account creation failed due to you are setting a different password for account creation in frontier . Customer service argued and said you forgot your password and it's a issue on your side or ask confused.com to reset your password . I was gutted to have that kind of response .

Prompt notification by mail detailing required amount and date due. Letter contained comprehensive instructions of how to renew on line which were very straight forward. Website was simple, uncluttered and was very easy to renew the policy. Best of all, I received immediate confirmation that my policy had been renewed and full documentation would be sent to my e-mail address. Well done....

Easy to check the policy details on Confused then to be able to confirm all details once on to Frontier website. No problems placing the order for the insurance which was £200 cheaper than the policy I had last year for home insurance. Also included Public Liability which the old policy did not.

Sadly I cannot recommend this company for house contents insurance. My recent claim for a stolen bicycle was handled in a reasonably timely manner and after providing all necessary documentation, images and details, I was informed the claim had been authorised and I would receive an agreed settlement figure within a few days. Based on this information, I purchased a replacement bike. Subsequently I received a call from broker saying a mistake had been made and that my Insurance rated Sold Secure Gold Litelock was not protection enough and the settlement offer had been withdrawn. I would simply ask the question: Is this 'Treating Customers Fairly'? I would suggest not.

The price on the renewal paperwork was £215 per month, and on th website £248 per month !!! I updated some cover details - added photos of several watches and selected update details and the website then confirmed the cane and the renewal of the policy!! I have not yet renewed the policy - I need to understand why the price is so much different to the renewal offer who I have changed nothing except added some missing details. There is also no phone number to call - very very unhelpful.
