Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy covers all personal data relating to people who have visited our website, requested a quote and customers of Frontier. Personal data includes name, address, email address, date of birth, occupation, insurance history and other relevant information that we require to provide insurance quotes and administer cover. Data can extend to include IP address, device identification and web site session recording which we use for anti-fraud purposes and to improve the quality of user interactions.

Part of administering cover includes sending Preventative Alerts. This is a personalised service providing you with relevant information so you can take action to protect your property from increased risks, whether natural or crime related.

We also request some sensitive data about criminal convictions. If you have any and you don’t want to share the information we will not be able to provide you with a quotation.

We abide by the Data Protection Act 2018. This means data is only used for the legitimate purpose of quoting or providing insurance cover. Data is stored for the following periods:

  • 36 months from the effective date of any quote for users who have not purchased a policy. If you want your personal data removed before this time you can email support@frontierinsurance.co.uk and it will be deleted within 30 days.
  • Indefinitely for any purchased policy. This needs to be retained for legal, regulatory and accounting records.

All data is kept in the strictest confidence, safe and secure.

  • Verifying insurance history and credit rating
  • Checking the validity of and handling any claims you make
  • Confirming your cover with the relevant insurer
  • We may also be required by law to share information to police and other law enforcement bodies.

We will not pass data to third parties for marketing purposes in any circumstances.

Customers of Frontier may request to view the personal data we hold by emailing support@frontierinsurance.co.uk. If you believe there is a problem with the way we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner.
