Really quick quote and great price. Forms are easy to complete online. You get a quick quote and can amend the excess to what you want, rather than being told the excess and that's it.

I appreciate Frontier as their policy and other details are transparent and easy to understand. The cost of the premium is excellent and as a pensioner it is a relief to find a policy that allows me to choose what I consider the essentials and at a price I can afford. Thank you.

We offer customers our best price, every time. No haggling, quibbling or hidden costs. We’re compact on price without compromising on service.
We may ask for an initial set-up fee when you first purchase. This is to share some of the non-refundable costs incurred. It’s all included and shown in any price we quote. Thereafter, we don’t charge any fees to make changes, cancel or renew. You only pay for any additional premium due. You fully control the cover you buy.

You need enough cover to rebuild your home and replace your belongings if they were lost in a major insured event. Buildings insurance should reflect the full rebuild cost rather than the property's market value, while contents insurance should reflect the cost of replacing what you own as new. With Frontier, you can choose buildings cover, contents cover, or a combined policy depending on your circumstances. Some of Frontier policies offer unlimited buildings cover subject to underwriting, but the information you provide should still reflect realistic replacement costs so claims can be settled correctly.
Home insurance premiums are influenced by the risk associated with the property and the level of cover selected. Insurers consider factors such as the construction and rebuild cost of the property, its location, previous claims history and how the property is used, for example whether it is a main home, second home or occasionally unoccupied. Your policy choices also affect the price, including the excess selected and any optional covers such as accidental damage, personal possessions, legal protection or home emergency.
Home insurance can cover damage caused by events such as storms, lightning, flooding and escape of water when the damage results from a sudden and unexpected event. Frontier policies include defined storm conditions that may use measurable thresholds such as wind speed or rainfall levels when assessing claims. As with any insurance policy, cover is always subject to the specific terms, conditions and excesses set out in the policy wording.
Home insurance is designed to cover sudden and unforeseen events rather than issues that develop gradually. Damage caused by wear and tear, poor maintenance, gradual deterioration, damp, mould or pest infestation is normally excluded. Losses caused by faulty workmanship or defective design are also typically not covered. Items taken away from the home or high-value belongings may require additional cover or specification depending on the policy.
If you need to make a claim with Frontier, you can log in to your account and submit the claim through the online claims portal. Claims should be reported as soon as reasonably possible and within 28 days after you become aware of the loss. You may be asked to provide evidence such as photographs of the damage, receipts, or proof of ownership. Once the claim has been submitted it will be reviewed by the claims team and handled in line with the policy terms.
You may be able to reduce the cost of your premium by selecting a higher voluntary excess, reviewing optional add-ons and ensuring the level of cover matches your actual needs. Accurate information about the property and how it is used is also important because premiums are calculated using the details provided when arranging the policy.
If you have the key details about your property available, you can normally obtain a quote within a few minutes through an online journey. You will usually be asked for information such as the property type, rebuild value or level of cover required, occupancy details and any previous claims. More complex or non-standard risks may require additional underwriting checks.
Claims can be made online 24-7 with a dedicated UK based team ready to speak to you in your time of need.
